1. Introduction & Overview

ExactBaseline ("we", "our", or "us"), located at https://exactbaseline.com, provides consumer decision and planning calculators across event beverage budgeting, automotive dealer price analysis, and athletic endurance pacing.

We are dedicated to safeguarding user privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, handle, and protect data when you utilize our tools, API integrations, and web properties.

2. Information We Collect

We maintain a minimal data collection policy designed strictly to deliver requested analytical calculations:

• Calculation Inputs: Parameters provided to compute models (e.g., guest count, vehicle mileage, benchmark race times). These are processed in real-time to render outputs and are not linked to individual identities.
• Contact & Communication Data: If you voluntarily subscribe to receive itemized spreadsheet models or report downloads, we store your email address securely to transmit the requested file and transaction confirmations.
• Technical & Server Telemetry: Standard diagnostic data such as device type, browser user-agent, referer header, and anonymized access timestamps to ensure uptime, prevent bot abuse, and optimize responsive mobile layout.

3. Third-Party Integrations & API Usage

To operate seamlessly, ExactBaseline interfaces with trusted technology platforms:

• Pinterest API: We utilize official Pinterest APIs exclusively to syndicate educational infographics and verified calculation summaries to our authenticated business boards. We do not harvest, store, or sell third-party user data from Pinterest.
• Cloudflare: Provides edge proxying, SSL/TLS certificate encryption, and DDoS mitigation.
• Stripe: Processes checkout transactions for premium spreadsheets and strategy dossiers. ExactBaseline does not store credit card or raw billing information.

4. Affiliate Marketing & Advertising Disclosure

ExactBaseline is an independent digital publisher and analytical tool suite. To support our computational infrastructure and keep our tools free to the public, we participate in affiliate marketing programs (including Skimlinks, Sovrn Commerce, and direct merchant partnerships such as Total Wine, The Feed, and automotive vehicle history providers). When visitors click external links to partner merchants and complete qualifying purchases, we may receive an affiliate commission at no additional cost to you. Our mathematical calculations, depreciation models, and product recommendations are strictly independent and objective.

5. Data Retention, Security & User Rights

We enforce 256-bit SSL encryption across all data transmission. We never sell, lease, or monetize your personal information to third-party data brokers. Users maintain the right at any time to request data deletion or unsubscribe from notifications via our instant Unsubscribe Portal or by contacting us directly.
